Stable Weighted Multiple Model Adaptive Control of Continuous-Time Plant, lgorithm is formulated directly based on local model output errors rather than the residuals generated by multiple Kalman filters as in classical multiple model adaptive control (CMMAC). The closed-loop stability (signal boundedness) and tracking performance of the proposed WMMAC system are proved with the help of VES concept and methodology.

Stability and Convergence Analysis of Self-Tuning Control Systems,S, the original nonlinear dominant (nonlinear in structure) problem is converted to a linear dominant problem (linear in structure). The main results are expressed by 10 theorems plus some new perspectives on STC.

Stable Weighted Multiple Model Adaptive Control of Discrete-Time Stochastic Plant,WMMAC system is proved under a unified framework which is independent of specific weighting algorithm and specific ‘local’ control strategy. Finally, some simulation results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis results of the proposed WMMAC scheme.
