Sliding Mode Observer for Fault Diagnosis: LPV and Takagi–Sugeno Model Approachests. The chapter describes the observer design for linear parameter varying and Takagi–Sugeno models, which are illustrated by the means of the inverted pendulum and the wind turbine benchmark from the literature.
