The role of morse-Lyapunov functions in the design of nonlinear global feedback dynamics, vector fields. It is hoped that, by understanding the topology of the problem better, it will be possible to derive existence conditions for Morse-Lyapunov functions that are more general than the ones derived here.

Applications of VSC in motion control systems,In this chapter examples of motor and robotic control have been described which demonstrate that VSC theory can be used effectively in motion control systems. Both experimental and simulation results have shown that VSC is a robust and practical control approach for motion control systems.
