Business Models and Hospitals, “value-added processes” (medicine as factory production) and “facilitated networks” (users as producers). “Disruptive innovation” may not be as powerful in healthcare as other industries, nor drive care settings to networks. Metrics are lacking, but it is likely that separability of processes will be important even if hybrid models remain.
