White dwarf central stars of old planetary nebulae,We report on results of an ongoing spectroscopic investigation of the central stars of very old planetary nebulae. We found that most of our observed central stars are hydrogen-rich white dwarfs (DA/DAO). We discuss their temperature scale and the structure of their atmosphere.
