Using Small Unoccupied Aircraft Systems (sUAS) for Characterizing Rivers and Streams in Forested Enng a combination of recent literature and the author’s first-hand experience, this chapter describes approaches, opportunities and challenges related to the application of sUAS-based methods in rivers and streams within forested landscapes or other environments with confined flying conditions and limited sight lines.
