A New Approach to Model Generation for Nonlinear Mixed-Signal Circuits in the Behavioral and Functioore. In this paper, a new approach to model nonlinear mixed-signal functional blocks is proposed. The outlined methodology combines analog and digital signals within one joint model, reflects the nonlinearity of complex analog modules and maintains at the same time the physical properties of electrical signals.

Hardware Dependent Software, the Bridge Between Hardware and Software telecom equipment, optimized for reusability, scalability and portability. A basic framework in UML of a generic hardware abstraction layer, from which an HdS platform can be instantiated for any such telecom system, is proposed.

A UML Profile for Real-Time System Modelling with Rate Monotonic Analysisressing their usage it remains to be seen a clear, defined link between both UML and RMA. We present here a profile based upon the OMG’s UML Real-Time Profile (Schedulability Analysis Subsection) that allows the placement of timing information and the subsequent generation of RMA models from UML models.
