Models and optimal control of robotic systems,The paper is devoted to mechanical and electromechanical models used in robotics and to optimal control problems based on these models. Some results in this field obtained in the Institute for Problems in Mechanics, USSR Academy of Sciences, are presented.

On the absolute center of a set in an edge,In this paper a generalization of the one-center problem is made by defining the center of an arbitrary set of points in a set. Necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for a point to be a center of a set in an edge of the network.

On the methods of nonsmooth optimization,bundle idea due to Lemarechal and several modifications by Kiwiel, Schramm and Zowe. To the end we shall give some numerical results comparing the efficience of these methods. As test problems we have used well-known test problems from litterature and in addition we shall give some contributions to nonsmooth optimal control problems.

The papers presented are extended versions of about 100 lectures (plenary lectures as well as lectures of the parallel sessions) of the conference. All papers include original researching results of the authors. Some have the character of a survey.
