Disaster Medicine: Lessons Learned from the Crash of Asiana Airlines Flight 214, sustained a significant number of sternal and spinal fractures. Some survivors displayed a toxic picture potentially related to the flame retardants manifested by severe hypocalcemia. Lessons Learned in Combat Burn Care,ition casualties who are usually evacuated expeditiously, local nationals with burn injury will require prolonged care at field medical hospitals.
