Geometrical Features of Single-Phase Microemulsionsequires a preliminary determination of the continuous phase via vapour phase analysis by gas chromatography. Also, light scattering experiments were performed and water core radii were obtained. Structural features are analyzed in light of these new experimental results.

Kerr Effect in Ternary Microemulsionsns induce a clustering of droplets which we have quantitatively studied at low concentrations, where only dimers of droplets are present. The concentration and lifetime of these dimers have been obtained for various interaction strengths.

Polymerization of Styrene in an Inverse MicroemulsionThe w/o microemulsions investigated were those containing toluene with styrene or polystyrene as oil phase, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as surfactant, pentanol or butyl cellosolve as cosurfactant, and water. The microemulsion regions reduced markedly as the concentration or the molecular weight of the added polystyrene was increased.
