Metallurgy of Continuous Filamentary A15 Superconductors,970, a method for fabricating such conductors with Nb.Sn and V.Ga was successfully developed and is now called the bronze process . The method relies on the fact that these A15 compounds can be formed at the interface of Nb(V) and Cu-Sn(Ga) when such composites are heated at elevated temperatures.
