Input Selection for Robustness to Noise of a random walk on the network, which is shown to be submodular. The submodular optimization framework is developed for static networks, networks with random link failures, networks with switching topologies, and networks with random mobility.

Resilience to Link Noise Injection Attacksut set that is adaptively updated based on the adversary’s noise injection strategy. In both cases, the submodularity of the error due to link noise is exploited to develop efficient algorithms for approximating the equilibrium strategies of the network and adversary.
