Effect of Complex Terrain on Turbulent Diffusion.15 m placed in a boundary layer of 0.6 m thick. Two angles of the step with the free stream velocity are studied (90°–60°)..The mean velocity and the turbulence intensity are measured with hot wire far from the step, above the step and downstream. The concentration field is measured by a new quanti雪上轻舟飞过 发表于 2025-4-1 11:46:31

Effect of Spanwise Rotation on Two-Dimensional Zero Pressure Gradient Turbulent Boundary Layerstation behaviour are reported. The differences in the mean velocity profiles appear to scale with a local Ekman Number. Spanwise skin friction measurements indicate that large scale longitudinal vortices may be present in the destabilised layers.偏见 发表于 2025-4-1 22:09:10
Flow over Solid Wavy Surfacesproblem is the modeling of the wave induced variation of the Reynolds stress in the viscous wall region. Available methods for solving this problem are evaluated by comparing calculated results with measurements of the shear stress variation along the surface of a solid wave.dominant 发表于 2025-4-2 00:21:12
The Effects of Concave Curvature on Turbulent Boundary Layer Structureboundary layer was grown on one wall of a straight, large water channel and then passed over a concave wall. The flow was visualized in two ways, i) by injecting dyes into the sublayers and ii) by generating hydrogen bubbles on fine wires placed in the flow. Evolution of Coherent Structures in a Lip Jetdevelopment of the shear layers. Interaction between the free shear layer and the boundary layer or between the two free shear layers with different initial conditions is also studied. The induced flow of the coherent structures plays a dominant role in the interactions.
