The Infrared Spectrum of H2-Ar: New Observations in the v= 1-0 and 2-0 Bands of H2n obtained in the 1-0 band region (λ ≈ 2.2 μm) with increased resolution and greatly increased line position accuracy. The first resolved spectrum of H.-Ar in the 2-0 band region (λ ≈ 1.2 μm) has also been obtained; this result should improve determinations of the dependence of the hydrogen - argon potential surface on the bond length of hydrogen.
