Plastic Limit Analysis of Pressure Vessels,f thin-walled pressure vessels. The result using the Huber-von Mises yield criterion for a spherical vessel is similar to that using the Tresca yield criterion. These solutions are applicable only for non-SD materials. It can be seen in the textbook of plasticity.
