Manifestations of the Wide Reverse in Mainstream Narrative Cinemar variations exist in the films of other filmmakers, how similar or different are they in form and in the way they are applied to narrative when compared to Spielberg; could the work of these other filmmakers have influenced Spielberg’s version of the wide reverse; and if it exists beyond Spielberg, from where did it originate?
