Parasitische und pathogene Flagellaten. (Protomonadinen.)d Menschen leben. Für keine derselben ist bisher mit Sicherheit eine pathogene Wirkung nachgewiesen, kann allerdings für einige auch nicht unbedingt verneint werden. Dies und ihr häufiges Vorkommen erheischen eine kurze Besprechung. In der Gattung . weisen ferner die Protomonadinen noch einen gefährlichen Hautparasiten unserer Süßwasserfische auf.
