Commentary: Bayesian Model Selection and Parameter Estimationcept but remains a difficult challenge for large parameter spaces. My comments here on the paper by Roberto Trotta are based on lessons learned from developing a controlled statistical fusion approach to some of these issues.

Commentary: Cosmological Bayesian Model Selectioniewed the issue in the context of model selection within the context of .CDM cosmological models. I briefly discuss the issue from both frequentist and Bayesian perspectives, expressing cautions about use of priors, Bayes factors, and p-values. There are no silver bullets, but Bayes factors seem most promising.
