,Läuferbauformen,en Gasturbine, die im Jahre 1939 von der damaligen BBC gebaut wurde, hatten das Verdichter und das Turbinengehäuse eine horizontale Trennebene, so dass der Läufer als Ganzes eingelegt werden konnte. Er war bereits damals unlösbar aus einzelnen Scheiben zusammengeschweißt, eine Technik, die bei BBC seit 1929 üblich war.
