,Raumordnung in Amsterdam — im Rahmen der Raumordnung in den Niederlanden,d seit dem Kanaldurchstich im 19. Jahrhundert die direkte Verbindung mit der Nordsee, die Hafen und Handel aufblühen ließen. Im Jahre 1300 erhielt Amsterdam Stadtrechte, im 15. Jahrhundert umgab sich die Stadt bereits mit Festungswällen, und dann setzte eine rasche Entwicklung ein, die im 17. Jahrhundert ihren Höhepunkt fand.
