A Path to Multimodal Data Services for Telecommunicationsandards, mobile devices, and existing R&D efforts. Three demonstrators developed by the authors are presented, including QuickMap, a map finder based on GPRS and WAP-Push. Findings are summarised in the description of a path that will lead to successful multimodal data services in mobile telecommunications.
