Integrability in the AdS/CFT Correspondence,Since the AdS/CFT correspondence was conjecture there has been a huge development in the field. In this chapter we present the two theories involved in the duality (. SYM and type IIB string theory) and the different versions of the AdS/CFT correspondence. We also present some useful computational tools that will be used throughout this thesis.
