Postoperative Analgesia in Cesarean Section, with Epidural Morphine,t of epidural analgesia. The side effects observed included nausea (12%), sedation (10%), dysuria (45%), and itching (60%). It is concluded that epidural morphine in these doses and in this patient series, provides a first rate postoperative analgesia in cesarean section.

Continuous Epidural Analgesia in the Perioperative Period,n the lower part of the body. It is not necessary to insert an epidural catheter. The incidence of side-effects and complications is low. Improved pain-reduction and prolonged action after a combination of local anaesthetics and opiates, given epidurally, may be due to a synergism between both classes of drugs.
