Trapping of Trifluoromethyl Radicals by Monomeric Nitrosoalkanes Synthesis of 1-Nitrosoadamantane,n atoms other than fluorine.. The ESR spectra of these nitroxides show rather large fluorine hyperfine splittings ..= 11.5–12.0 gauss). The possible mechanisms for spin derealization oy β-fluorine atoms are discussed. One of the scavengers used in this study is hitherto unknown 1-nitrosoadamantane.
