Rutherford Backscattering Spectroscopy of Electrode Surfaces, After a short introduction to the basics of RBS most of the few studies, which used RBS for electrode surface analysis are reviewed, and the information provided by RBS is discussed. Recent in-situ RBS investigations of the electrode/electrolyte interface are presented, and problems incountered during this studies are discussed.
