Performance Study of Shared-Nothing Parallel Transaction Processing Systemshe steady-state average values of the variables are used for analyzing this flow diagram. Using this model, the performance behavior of shared-nothing parallel TP systems is studied. Analytic results are reported. Simulation experiments are performed to validate the analysis. The predictions of this model agree well with the simulation results.
