Results and Discussion,In this research work, the trend analysis is carried out for 30 rain gauge stations located in the semiarid region of Gujarat. The daily rainfall data is collected from the State Water Data Centre (SWDC) and Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) for 21 and 9 stations, respectively.

A difference of more than 200 mm rainfall is observed between the two groups, with the first group showing more rainfall than the second group (Fig. 5.1).

Conclusion,ysis is performed to analyze the variability of the mean rainfall. The stations have been divided into 2 clusters with 17 and 13 stations in each cluster, which significantly differ from each other. The first cluster shows a higher mean rainfall than the second cluster.
