Methods and Instruments for Condition Monitoring of Lubricants,oils are compared with the data measured by standard method. The fluorescent method is compared with other techniques, such as the titration method and IR spectroscopy, while measuring the oil oxidation of transformer oil. It is shown that fluorescence emission ratio gives sufficient information for evaluating the oil degradation in real time.
