,1950–1969: Becoming a Counselor to the Socialist Prince,stitute of Sociology at the Academy of Sciences and several university departments were all established in 1964–1966. Sociology quickly developed thanks to new international contacts and the support of the Communist reformers. This boom came to an end after the Soviet invasion in 1968.
