Accent Variation and Change in North-East Scotland: The Case of (,) in Aberdeen,ariety (Brato, in preparation). This variable was chosen because it highlights how the urban accent of Aberdeen is torn between its North-Eastern roots and more recent developments elsewhere in Scotland.
