Rural Water Supply Scheme Sustainability: A Comparative Institutional Analysisysis shows that NRSP schemes have a much higher success rate in sustainable RWSS delivery and that their schemes are also more cost-effective. We attribute the comparative success to painstaking social mobilization and social capital construction to induce collective action.
