An Overview of Approaches for the Migration of Applications to the Cloud, still implies difficult and cumbersome efforts. Recently a lot of initiatives, defining approach to support the migration of application to the cloud, have emerged. In this paper we propose an overview of these approaches taking into account advantages and disadvantages of adopting them.
