Calcium Signaling: Downstream Components in Plants,Calcium ions are involved in coupling a large number of extra-cellular stimuli to a variety of physiological processes in eukaryotes. At the cellular level Ca. enables the cells to communicate with the exterior milieu by acting as a major intracellular second messenger.GLEAN 发表于 2025-3-25 10:21:54

Differential Perception of Environmental Light by Phytochromes, nges of environment. In the early 20th century botanists were already aware that development and reproduction in plants are influenced significantly by light (.). Evidence for photoregulation in plants so accumulated that . operationally classified light-dependent reactions in plants into two categoevasive 发表于 2025-3-26 11:55:23
Functions and Actions of , Phytochromes, nvironment and development is essential for survival under conditions that are ever changing. The light environment is a particularly important determinant of plant development and the periodicity, direction, quantity and quality of incident light are continuously monitored by plants. Cytosolic pH as a Secondary Messenger During Light Activation of Phosphoenolpyruvate Carboxylase inthe activity of PEPC is modulated markedly by pH. The enzyme, PEPC, is localized in cytosol of mesophyll cells higher plants. Obviously the cytosolic pH would be a very important factor in determining the activity of PEPC.
