Cytokine-Dependent Interleukin-8 Expression and its Role in Cell Communicationin a plethora of additional immune mediators, providing competition for these established chemotactic gradients. In this manuscript, we address various aspects of leukocyte elicitation and demonstrate the importance of proximal cytokines to a successful chemotactic response.
