Opening Addressely to demonstrate the too easily forgotten unity of nuclear science. In these times where science, physics and particularly nuclear physics get strongly challenged, it also appears very fortunate to observe the coming-up of a number of new applications of particles to other sciences, like muons in chemistry or pions in medicine.
