On Ideal Autocorrelation Sequences Arising from Hyperovals,rise to binary sequences with ideal autocorrelation function. An overview of this result is provided as well as a derivation of the trace expansion and linear span of sequences relating to the Segre hyperoval.

A survey of such complexity measures will be given, with an emphasis on recent results.

Regular Cosets and Upper Bounds on the Linear Complexity of Certain Sequences,n Key’s upper bound and allow to deduce a simple recommendation for the design of secure filter generators.
