Conceptual Design of a Novel Flocculation Deviceld in a spiral arrangement. Performance predictions suggest that this device may be more efficient than conventional stirred tank flocculators. High intensity phase separation applications may also be enhanced utilising this design principle.

The Dewatering of Biological Suspensions in Industrial Centrifugespension which affect clarification and dewatering is required. In this paper we examine those characteristics which determine the extent of dewatering achievable and those which control sediment discharge from continuous centrifuges.
