Correction to: Topics in Energy and Potential Theory,R. K. Getoor pointed out to us that the proof of Lemma (3.1) is not valid if b is ∞ or −∞, so we give a new proof of (3.1) here which allows us to prove Theorem (3.2). We assume the reader is familiar with the notation in the article.
