Osteodysplasty (Melnick-Needles Syndrome),ised a 50-year-old female with identical features and coined the term ‘osteodysplasty’ for the condition. This designation was derived from the Greek and was intended to convey the meaning ‘badly formed.’ This woman, together with an affected 7-month-old girl, was reported again in the French literature by the same authors (. et al. 1968).
