,Pfingsten – Das Symbolfest der Taube, zwischen Ostern und Pfingsten – dieser zeitliche Abstand war, worauf bereits einer der frühen Kirchenväter und spätere Papst, Hippolytos von Rom (173–235), hinweist, interessanterweise auch mit 7 x 7 Tagen anzugeben, wobei dann Pfingstsonntag der 50. und abschließende Tag der nachösterlichen Freuden- und Feierperiode war.
