Where Are You , From?,rations, but because they appear “brown” they are constantly challenged to “prove” they are Americans. We can generalize that the “. from” voices are more middle and upper middle class than the Black Wastelanders. But their stories are so diverse that there is no real racial or socioeconomic category here.
