Diagenetic Controls on Reservoir Quality, Eolian Norphlet Formation, South State Line Field, MississThe Norphlet Formation (Upper Jurassic) at South State Line Field, Greene County, Mississippi, has poor reservoir quality in its upper part and good reservoir quality in its lower part. This chapter shows that these properties are a consequence of the formation of diagenetic clay minerals.
