Certification of FPGAs - Current Issues and Possible Solutionsets (SEUs) is presented. We also demonstrate a technique which has the potential to be used to identify areas which are sensitive to SEUs in terms of safety effect, thus allowing optimisation of an FPGAs design and supporting our argument.
