Method for Computing Scattering Matrices,f Chap. .. In fact, the scheme of the method in Sect. . is similar to that in Sect. .; however, near a threshold we first calculate the augmented scattering matrix defined in a basis of waves stable at the threshold and then take into account its connection with the usual (not augmented) S-matrix.
