Rock identification by advanced data processing methodsethods applied to LANDSAT TM thermal infrared data are; ① False color composite, ② ∆ T processing and ③ ATI processing. Among these processings, Principal component compression provided sufficient information for the geological interpretation. The processing using thermal infrared data confirmed the applicability to geological interpretation.
