Quantitative Laboratory Spectroscopy of Atmospheric Trace Gases,in the laboratory. This article describes laboratory measurements of reference absolute absorption intensities for atmospheric trace species using Fourier transform spectroscopy in the infrared spectral range. Quantitative Rotational Spectroscopy for Atmospheric Research, Odin or EOS-MLS has induced strong spectroscopic efforts to provide accurate line shape parameters that minimize the errors in the retrieval procedures.
