Let us now turn our attention to how we can help ourselves stay calm, reasonably sane and well-motivated in the face of the constant barrage of impossible demands which are made on us, and the frequent absence of tangible rewards which we experience in the course of our work.

The brain, our brains were specialized into different areas which were responsible for different functions. To some extent they were right, and we now know a considerable amount about how specialized areas in the brain are responsible for processing different kinds of information.
