Dielectronic Recombination and Radiative Recombination Measurements at Aarhus Universityexperimental progress obtained with the electron target at Aarhus University. Radiative recombination for bare ions as well as for ions carrying electrons is considered. Electron-Ion Recombination Experiments on the KSU EBISA summary is given of experiments on dielectronic recombination and electron excitation in the Kansas State University electron-beam ion source. The use of charge state equilibria, x-ray yields and rate constants to determine cross sections for electron ion collision cross sections is discussed.
