Weak decays of light and heavy hadrons,Nonperturbative QCD strongly influences weak decays. No exact treatment is available. Nevertheless, using simple models, a semi-quantitative understanding of exclusive decays has recently been achieved, from strange particle decays up to the decay of .-flavored hadrons. An outline of the physics involved is presented.

Heavy Quark Symmetry and weak decays of heavy baryons,I give an account of the physics ideas that go into the formulating of Heavy Quark Symmetry (HQS) and use HQS ideas to discuss various aspects of the weak semileptonic decays of heavy baryons.
