Macroscopic Quantum Tunneling in Ferromagnets and Antiferromagnetsferromagnetic particles. Expressions for the rates of quantum tunneling and thermal activation of the magnetization and the Néel vector are given for low temperatures, near the cross-over temperature and high temperatures. Quantum and thermally activated nucleations in bulk solids and two-dimensional films of antiferromagnet are also presented.

Nuclear Spin Dissipation in Magnetic Macroscopic Quantum Phenomenaf a ferromagnetic particle, or of the Néel vector of an antiferromagnetic particle. This paper reviews theoretical calculations of the effect of nuclear spins on these phenomena, and discusses experimental claims to have seen MQC in this light.

The Collective Coordinate Method and Bloch Wall Motion the so-called “collective coordinate method”. It is meant to be a tutorial and very informal approach to the subject. Although the emphasis will be on magnetic systems the method can also be applied to many other non-linear one dimensional field theoretical models.
